Project Management Consulting, Pre-engineered Metal Building Erection (PEMB)
The Idea
At Modolith, we seamlessly integrate consulting and hands-on construction services, as showcased in the Brazoria County Service Centers Improvements project. We provided project management consulting to the general contractor while also self-performing the erection of the pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMBs), constructing two new maintenance buildings with efficiency and quality, blending both services to ensure a successful outcome.
Our team provided thorough project management for the Brazoria County Service Centers Improvements project, overseeing the development of two pre-engineered metal buildings and four backup generators. We managed site coordination, subcontractor buyout, budget analysis, schedule updates, submittal reviews, client meetings, and more. Our subcontractor management ensured smooth coordination and execution across all phases, delivering the project with efficiency and quality.

The Fundamentals
Modolith’s involvement in this project wasn’t limited to just management. We also took an active role in the physical execution, performing the erection of the pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB). The advantage of Modolith’s dual role — both as a project consultant and as the PEMB erector — allowed for an unmatched level of coordination. We streamlined communication between the team, identified and resolved potential challenges early on, and ensured that the project stayed on track.
