Custom Structural Steel Training Structure
Modolith Structures
Modolith was awarded a design-build contract to construct the new skills tower for the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office training facility. The scope included engineering, procurement, and self-performing the erection of the structural steel. Modolith also managed subcontractors for concrete, masonry, and electrical/lighting. This project demonstrates the company’s multifaceted abilities by combining design, procurement, self-performance, and general contracting—all in one project. The new tower will provide the sheriff’s department staff with the ability to train in rappelling and scaling for years to come.
Our Scope
In addition to structural steel, Modolith managed key subcontractors responsible for concrete, masonry, and electrical and lighting systems. This integrated approach allowed for seamless coordination across all trades while maintaining strict alignment with the project’s performance and safety requirements.

Integrated Construction
The result is a robust, purpose-engineered training structure built to withstand intensive, repeated use while meeting the operational needs of law enforcement professionals.
